 The K8 is a small discreet alarming ratemeter for detecting
radiation and radioactive materials near by protecting people from radiation exposure. All units are tested using an NIST traceable radiation source. Ideal for
airport checkpoint guards and baggage handlers, pilots and flight attendants, police and firefighter, coast guard, border patrols, military, hospital workers,
package and courier services, custom and cargo inspectors. Applications:

LED Indicators

second at 2 mR/hr, and every 30 min. indicating natural radiation. Red LED flashes at approx. 10 mR/hr (100 mSv/hr), custom settable are available. Yellow LED
is on when battery needs replacing Power Requirements
1 lithium battery(CR2032) included. Battery life Approx.. 1500 hour at normal background.
Green, Yellow, and Red LED flash when power is turned on.
