| Handgrip Dynamometer (915900): |
Lode has developed a force measuring system for hands, using a special application
of modified strain gauge technology. The Lode hand grip dynamometer consists of an ergonomically formed measuring beam that is connected to an amplifier. Measured values
can be read from a display on the amplifier. The hand grip dynamometer can also be connected to a computer; measured values can be read from the screen with the help
of a computer program. The use of strain gauges is particularly useful because they are not subject to changes as a result of differences in temperature or humidity: the ratio of the strains is the same, independent of the environments of the system. The hand grip dynamometer is easy to handle and reliable in its measurements. Because of its wide measuring range and accuracy the hand grip dynamometer is suitable for research purposes. Two of the devices are actually used in a Eurospacial project because of their accurate measuring method. |

| Lode has designed a software package that is optionally available with the hand grip dynamometer. The package expands the possibilities of the system: it arranges and collects more detailed data on measurements, and data can be immediately connected to patient files. |
