The rectangular jumbo FOV high stability
detectors are assembled from high quality optical and mechanical components so they ensure excellent images in the energy range of 40-600 keV. The special shielding
of the heads allows detecting ultra high energy isotopes as 131I or 18F (PET). Attenuation correction (optional) and new type of collimators make a more precise
evaluation of the images possible. Each detector has a 585x470mm NaI(Tl) crystal with thickness of either 9.5 or 15.9mm (and optionally 25mm pixelated) and 55 high
quantum efficiency photomultiplier tubes. They are highly integrated, one-board PET-based, easily serviceable detectors. The detectors can be easily positioned for heart, for whole body imaging or for other investigations. The positions of the two detectors can be set automatically.
