The Cost Effective Solution

We offer a compact imaging system, that is designed to all your current, specific clinical needs. This is the Nucline Spirit DH-V, variable angle dual-head large-field-of-view digital gamma camera system. It is a cost effective multipurpose equipment of a nuclear medicine department for a wide range of SPECT, Whole Body, planar static and dynamic, moreover ECG-gated planar or SPECT imaging. The high patient throughput ensures low operation cost for the labs.

To extend the functions of Nucline™ Spirit DH-V, the system has an ECG device built in which allows performing gated cardiac planar and gated cardiac SPECT studies.

Imaging Table - Comfort and Safety

The integrated, easy-to-handle comfortable imaging table was developed for SPET and whole body examinations. The vertical movements of the table is motorized, the height can be set by remote control between 62.5 cm and 87.5 cm. The actual height is digitally indicated on the monitor. Easy positioning of the bed makes possible to investigate the patient in sitting position, too. The low attenuation pallet is equipped with head holder and arm rest to ensure maximum comfort for the patient.

  • low attenuation (<5%) aluminum pallet up to 180 kg patient weight
  • intelligent CAN connected industry standard interface to gantry

  • motorized vertical patient positioning with digital height display
  • motorized whole body motion

  • accessories: arm-holder for WB-, arm-head-holder for heart and head holder for brain examinations; integrated source-holder
Ergonometric Gantry

The high stability dual-detector variable angle gantry is easy-to-handle, comfortable for direct imaging of wheelchair patients.

  • The pre-programmed robotic gantry motions for positioning of the heads ensure 180 or 102 degree variable angles.
  • All motions are motorized and computer controlled via industry standard CAN bus
  • The low rotation point (85cm) allows easy patient setting.
  • Full automatic motion calibrations
  • Maintenance-free mechanical design

Optional accessories

  • Dual infrared line autobody contour facility
  • Attenuation correction device
  • Coincidence imaging upgrade package
  • ECG triggering device for cardiac gated studies
  • MODEM long-distance service kit (hardware and software)
  • Colour video imager or colour laser printer
  • CODONICS dry film imager
  • Tuning and test phantoms
  • Refillable isotope pen for anatomical marking
Detectors
The rectangular jumbo FOV high stability detectors are assembled from high quality optical and mechanical components so they ensure excellent images in the energy range of 40-600 keV. The special shielding of the heads allows detecting ultra high energy isotopes as 131I or 18F (PET). Attenuation correction (optional) and new type of collimators make a more precise evaluation of the images possible. Each detector has a 585x470mm NaI(Tl) crystal with thickness of either 9.5 or 15.9mm (and optionally 25mm pixelated) and 55 high quantum efficiency photomultiplier tubes. They are highly integrated, one-board PET-based, easily serviceable detectors.

The detectors can be easily positioned for heart, for whole body imaging or for other investigations. The positions of the two detectors can be set automatically.

Detector electronics

Compact, highly integrated, one-board easily serviceable construction without tuning potentiometers:

  • computer controlled PMT autotuning processor for fast PMT gain stabilization and adjustment
  • computer controlled ODC electronics
  • high precision summation electronics
  • active high voltage bleeder with integrated HV module
  • NaI(Tl) scintillation crystal
    • Size: 585x470 mm
    • Thickness: 9.5 mm, 15.9 mm or 25 mm pixelated
  • Photomultipliers:
    • 55 pcs of high quantum efficiency PMT characterized by improved energy resolution, magnetic shielding and long-term stability
