NMPE’s comprehensive system includes the phantom and integrated software necessary to ensure safe, effective IMRT dose delivery. The software compares the treatment plan’s fluence output with actual data from the treatment machine, and displays a 3D topographical map of differences. The pReference IMRT TPS QA module has a 3D phantom model for individual treatment plan verification. The phantom supports both film and ion chamber output check approaches. The completed patient treatment plan is recalculated on the integrated phantom data. The phantom is then irradiated and the plan is checked for accuracy. Phantom and software integration ensures a seamless, documented technique for successful treatment completion. |
