 Our alloy melters are designed for use in radiation therapy block production. These heavy-duty melters help decrease vaporizing emissions, create better quality blocks with less cavitation, and eliminate clogs and drips.
In a convenient 6.6 liters (1.75-gallon) size, this unit has the melt-down capacity of much larger units due to its temperature sensitivity and ceramic heaters. Four 18cm (7") legs elevate the melter above your casting plate, providing a safe and convenient method for dispensing alloy directly into the mold cavity.
A temperature-sensing device is located in a built-in thermo-well in the fully-insulated stainless steel melting chamber. Exclusive push-button temperature control programming for both tank and valve. Carbon-steel ball-valve dispenser with heater prevents clogs and drips. Digital readout provides constant temperature reference, as well as programmed tank and dispenser settings. Can be used with either 158ºF low-melt alloy or 203ºF medium-melt cadmium-free alloy.
