The MT-SN-1010-2 electrometer offers many of the desirable features found on more expensive models without sacrificing accuracy or dependability. The exchangeable, front-end-mounted amplifier/feedback modules eliminate internal electronic clutter and optimizes measuring conditions without the high cost associated with "all-inclusive" models.
Front-end amplifier/feedback modules are matched to the ionization chamber in use, thereby optimizing operating conditions and range for the particular chamber. Measuring units include charge, current, dose, and dose rate.
The electrometer is battery powered for independence from external powersources. A set of AA batteries will typically last for over 1,000 hours. Internal bias is selectable from ± 150V or ± 300V. External bias of up to ± 600 V may be selected. The large LCD display with auto range-up is highly visible, even from a greater distance. Display resolution is 0.005%. The analog signal may be fed into an optional data bridge for connection to a PC.
Features:
- The user interface is intuitive, simple and straightforward to use so you can do your work quickly.
- A few buttons control all operations.
- User activated automatic zeroing: press a button and you are ready to measure!
- Large, easy to read LCD display: you can see it from a distance and in low light.
- A larger coulomb range than any other Electrometer.
- Three modes, Amp, Coulomb, and a combined Amp & Coulomb mode.
- Save time with the unique timing feature. Collect charge during a specific time period. The display shows the time counting down and the charge accumulating.
- Designed to meet or significantly surpass AAPM, ADCL, and reference grade instrument stated specifications including: leakage, resolution, linearity, long-term stability, and repeatable measurement accuracy.
