Grid trays are precision measuring/reference devices used in radiation therapy and simulation. MED-TEC manufactures grid trays for every commercially available simulator or radiation treatment machine.

Grid trays are designed to project a very precise reference dot pattern onto a simulator film or portal film. They are available with either straight pins or divergent pins arranged in the X and Y-axes of the tray to coincide with the beam divergence when placed into the wedge tray slot of the collimator.

Wedge tray slot grid trays (divergent pins) are held securely in a sturdy aluminum frame equipped with a coding plug. There is no aluminum frame or coding pin on shadow tray grid trays; they are manufactured from a standard acrylic tray.
