 MED-TEC's Sequel™ Phantom is a simple, yet effective daily QA tool designed to meet the protocol requirements for IMRT quality assurance of dose delivery.
We offer two models of our Sequel Phantom:
- MT-QA-1000 Level One for Head and Neck:
This model features up to five 15cm x 15cm sections. It accommodates ion chambers (five locations), and includes five film dividers, each 1cm thick. (Four films can be used at a time.) It also features a scatter block and fiducial markers.
- MT-QA-2000 Level Two for Abdomen/Chest:
This model is a 30cm x 30cm block, featuring two 5cm-thick sections and three 1cm-thick sections. The Level One Phantom can be "stacked" to achieve this full-size phantom. The Level Two Phantom accommodates ion chambers and features three film dividers and a scatter block. The unit has a round base that allows you to rotate the block every 90 degrees.
Both of our Sequel Phantom models are constructed of acrylic, and are designed for relative dose measurements with quick and easy setup. They can be expanded with sections/blocks for TLDs, MOSFET dosimeters, and inhomogeneity correction blocks.
The Sequel Phantom is a works in progress.
Features:
- Focus on baseline results (i.e. utilizing ion chambers and film dosimetry).
- Two sizes on Level One and Level Two provide a better simulation from the anatomy perspective.
- "Two-pin ready" for use on MED-TEC's IPPS™ Lok-Bar for accurate positioning of the Phantom on the couchtop.
