 The MED-TEC Lung Board is a lightweight, convenient positioning/immobilization device designed to gain advanced positioning for the breast, thorax, and lung.
It is designed to facilitate treatments in the thorax, especially when a patient has difficulty lying flat. Patient may be located near the edge of the board.
Especially Beneficial For:
- AP/AP lung fields
- Lateral lung fields where the patient’s arms must be held overhead out of the treatment field
- Breast patients where extreme collimator angulation would be needed to follow curvature of the chest if the patient were to lie flat on the table
- Tangential treatments in the thorax
