 This integrated positioning system for craniospinal irradiation utilizes a Vac-Lok™ vacuum cushion within a special PediBoard™, a Uni-frame® prone head holder, and a thermoplastic mask. The all-plastic PediBoard™ accommodates a three-inch, vinyl-covered foam block for torso elevation and spinal alignment. Raised sides capture the Vac-Lok cushion for easy molding around the body. Indexing pins allow for accurate and reproducible positioning of the tilting prone head holder along the longitudinal axis. |
