 Our exclusive carbon fiber grid table and spine inserts provide accurate and reproducible positioning for simulator and treatment couches.
They are designed to replace the factory-installed “tennis racket” panels of many couches, and eliminate the need to “re-string” these panels. Rigid, radiotranslucent carbon fiber minimizes the “sag” that can occur with nylon string panels, making these inserts a more accurate choice for positioning from simulation to treatment.
To ensure minimum deflection characteristics, each panel is tested in accordance with linear accelerator manufacturers’ specifications: 55 pounds are placed on a 5"x5" square on the grid panel; deflection must be less than .310."
Treatment, simulator, and spine-end couch inserts are available for most tables, and feature an all carbon fiber frame, making the unit radiotranslucent – ideal for lateral oblique and conformal treatments. Includes replaceable mylar cover.
