The aluminum rails, which are adjustable in width, can be mounted on all of our baseplates. They allow the baseplate to be locked down in the desired position
on the simulator or treatment couch. Depending on the type of couch, one can choose from several mounting brackets.
The AL-R type offers the possibility to slide the baseplate laterally on the tabletop while holding the same longitudinal position. This may be needed for lateral oblique
fields e.g. during the treatment of parotic and oropharynx tumors. The AL-RS type is not laterally adjustable, but centers the baseplate on the couchtop at a preset and
fixed longitudinal position.
The AL-RS type is also available in a shorter version (type AL-RSS) to be used on couches not wider than 46 cm. |
