Couch Top Cover

To overcome the difference in height between Posifix or Posirest baseplates and the couch top, this comfortable elevation mat can be used. It has the same thickness (15 mm) as our baseplates and the cranial side has a negative slope that adapts to the baseplate and avoids a gap between the baseplate and couch top cover.
Its length of 120 cm ensures a comfortable support of the patient and allows it to be used also on lower parts of the couch without overhang.
An integrated hand grip on the caudal side makes it easy to handle and is used to hang it on the wall when it is not placed on the couch top.
This couch top cover is ideal in situations where the simulation is done on a traditional Posifix baseplate and the treatment takes place on the Sinmed Mastercouch, which has the mask fixation integrated.
A smaller version of the couch top cover with a length of 46 cm is also available to support the upper body in combination with one of our baseplates.
Both Sinmed couch top covers are made of lightweight polyethylene foam and may be disinfected with commonly used detergents.
