| As Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy requires high precision and a reliable and accurate patient set-up, Sinmed offers a number of baseplates that are specifically
engineered to fit those needs. The Sinmed IMRT baseplates are made of a low density foam core, covered with ultra thin layers of carbon fiber and are easily hooked onto the cranial end of the treatment couch. This allows a 360 degrees treatment without compensation. The surface configuration of all types is identical to our Posifix-2 baseplate, making them fully compatible with the complete line of head and neck accessories as well as the dedicated Posicast and Posicast-Plus head and neck masks. Sinmed IMRT baseplates are available for several types of treatment couches. Please check with your local distributor to verify compatibility. |
