| The Sinmed Posifix is a versatile system that is used in hundreds of radiotherapy departments worldwide for the immobilization of head and neck patients. From now on, it is possible to use the same system for pediatric patients, using our new pediatric base plate and mask precuts. To allow children of variable ages to be immobilized, the shoulders can be fixed at three different widths. As it is advisable to always fix children’s shoulders to minimize movement, Sinmed has developed a small 5-point precut (PR55) that is suitable for very small children. All Sinmed head supports, including the pediatric types, can be used on the pediatric Posifix baseplate. |

| Posifix Pediatric Precuts |
| Sinmed has developed a small 5-point precut, type PR55 that is suitable for head and shoulder fixation with very small children. For making a 3-point head mask with pediatric patients, we advise to use the smaller PR33 precut. Please contact us for specific order information. |
