Boluflex is a flexible, gel based build-up material that is used where additional tissue equivalent thickness is required in radiation therapy treatments. Boluflex
sheets are made of a cured transparent gel, covered with a thin but durable polyethylene skin and offers great conformity to body contours. The material has an homogeneous
thickness with a density of 0,98 g/cm³ and will not deform or sag. It should be stored unfolded and on a flat surface. Boluflex is available in sheets of 5, 10, 15 or 20 mm thickness and in multiple sizes. To achieve the desired build-up effect, several layers may be combined. If so required, it can be cut into any desired shape. Boluflex is cleaned with soap and water. |
